As Director of A Hand To Guide You, I successfully completed and passed the National Qualification Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy (QCF).  This is the highest possible qualification in Funeral Celebrancy run by Civil Ceremonies Ltd. 

I understand that you want your celebration to fit the wishes of the person who has passed away, as well as being a fitting tribute to their life and personality.  A Hand To Guide You means I will help you plan and organise the ceremony that is right for you and your family, and conduct it according to your wishes, working closely with your Funeral Director.

I will meet with you to fully explain and discuss the ceremony.  

I will ask you to choose the music, readings or prayers for your ceremony.

I will ask you to check the ceremony content beforehand and make any alterations you wish.

I will give you a printed copy of your ceremony, if you would like a copy.

My entire working career has been working with bereaved families and listening to their needs at the most difficult time of their lives.

I have received extensive training from Dr Carolyn Coarsey Vice-President and Co-Founder for the Family Assistance Foundation - www.fafonline.org

I am a trustee for Escaping Victimhood a charitable company founded by criminal justice professionals providing supportive residential workshops for people whose lives have been disrupted by the trauma of violent crime.  www.escapingvictimhood.com
